About Anna

My journey into becoming a psychotherapist began not only through academic training, but through lived experience and a deep curiosity about the connection between emotional pain and physical symptoms.

Over time, I witnessed how chronic stress, trauma, anxiety, and unresolved experiences can shape the nervous system and manifest as chronic pain, digestive distress, fatigue, tension, and other persistent mind body symptoms. I saw how often people were told their symptoms were unexplained, yet their bodies were clearly speaking.

As both a registered psychotherapist and a registered dietitian, I have always been drawn to the powerful relationship between the brain, the body, and emotional wellbeing. The gut brain connection, nervous system regulation, and the impact of trauma on physical health became central to my work. I founded Sky Therapies to offer chronic pain therapy and trauma informed psychotherapy that truly integrates mind and body healing.

I came to see that emotional pain and physical symptoms are deeply connected. This insight led me to therapy, where I now help people heal from trauma, chronic pain, PTSD, fatigue, and other mind-body challenges by addressing the stress held in the body.

My clinical training includes EMDR therapy, Deep Brain Reorienting, Brainspotting, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, somatic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other neuroscience based approaches for anxiety treatment, depression therapy, trauma therapy, and chronic pain recovery. These evidence based therapies help calm the nervous system, reduce physical symptoms, and support long term emotional resilience.

I’ve learned that true healing means caring for the whole person-mind, body, and spirit. My path began in nutrition, but my heart is now in helping others rediscover their strength and inner healing.

Many of my clients have seen multiple medical professionals and are looking for a mind body approach that addresses the root causes of suffering. I believe healing is not about fixing something that is broken. It is about restoring safety in the nervous system, reconnecting mind and body, and understanding how trauma and stress shape our experience. When the body feels safe, symptoms can begin to settle. When the mind feels understood, resilience grows.

Life Outside Of Therapy

Outside of therapy, Anna  enjoys staying active and connected to the people and activities that bring her joy. As a former professional tennis player, she continues to have a deep love for tennis and sports, and values movement as an important part of overall wellbeing. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, caring for her dogs, and sharing meaningful moments with her family. These experiences help her stay grounded, energized, and deeply connected to the balance between mind, body, and life beyond the therapy room.
