a licensed Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Counselling from Yorkville University, Ontario.
Many of the people I work with arrive feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or confused by symptoms that have not fully eased through insight alone or medical care. You may be living with trauma responses, anxiety, low mood, chronic pain, chronic illness, or other neuroplastic physical symptoms that feel deeply rooted in your body. At times, it can seem as though your nervous system is stuck in a state of survival mode, leaving you tense, shut down, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself and your life. When symptoms persist despite your best efforts, the experience can feel isolating and deeply frustrating.
we gently explore how your brain and nervous system learned these patterns and how they can begin to shift. Using trauma informed psychotherapy, EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), somatic therapy, and mind body approaches, we work with both emotional and physical experiences at the same time. EMDR is a powerful, evidence based therapy that helps the brain process experiences that remain unresolved and continue to drive emotional distress or physical symptoms. Sessions are carefully paced and do not require reliving traumatic experiences before you are ready, focusing instead on nervous system regulation, safety, and gradual healing.
is warm, collaborative, and respectful of your unique story. Therapy is not about pushing through symptoms or “fixing” yourself, but about working with your mind body connection in a way that feels supportive and manageable. Alongside EMDR, somatic work, and mind body therapy, I integrate CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) tools to build regulation, resilience, and greater ease in daily life. Many clients share that therapy helps them feel more grounded, less overwhelmed by symptoms, and more trusting of their body again. My intention is to support lasting healing, helping you move forward with greater balance, clarity, and a renewed sense of emotional and physical safety.
